Qabalan: Moghnieh is an example of courage and perseverance

Addressing the assassination of Imad Moghnieh, vice president of the Higher Shiite Council Sheikh Abdel-Amir Qabalan described the Hizbullah commander as "an example of courage and perseverance."
"Imad Moghnieh has risked his life so that Lebanon could live and he has kept a low profile all along even though he was a great hero," Qabalan said.
Turning to more internal issues, Qabalan urged the Lebanese to unite "in face of any group or country working on stirring tensions among us."
"Let us all work for the welfare of Lebanon and let's shun tensions and shun any force working on dividing us," Qabalan said during his weekly Friday sermon at the head quarters of the council in Beirut's southern suburbs.
