Bahraini Pearl Women Tell of Their Forgotten Revolution

In Bahrain, narrations of a forgotten revolution are told everywhere and in almost every house.
But the most astonishing are those told by the Bahraini women, who detail days of torture, uprising, jails, protests, martyrdom, and pride mingled with blood.
There, in the tiny Gulf kingdom, it was no surprise to find on that Bahraini women are prominent in protests.
Along the past years of the uprising, women, most of them wearing black abayas, stood apart from male peers, carrying pictures of martyrs, prisoners, and signs asking about the so-called international community in face of al-Khalifa crimes.
