Gantz Warns: Multi-Front War can Easily Develop
Local Editor
"Israeli" Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz warned Tuesday that " a multi-front war can developt any given moment."
In a lecture under the title, "The "Israeli" Army" 2025", Gantz said: "This is something that we are preparing for and must be ready for."
Gantz provided an imaginary scenario for the breakout of war, which begins with an abduction on Occupied Palestine with Syria, on the Golan Heights:
"An event in which a force is hit by an explosive device on the Golan Heights, followed by the abduction of three soldiers and the regiment commander, and in response to the "Israeli" army's retaliation, accurate fire by Hizbullah on the northern border, fire on the crossings on the Gaza border and an assault upon them, and fire on the southern border toward Eilat," the "Israeli" top military commander added.
He further stated: "That is just one of many possibilities."
The imaginary war scenario provided by Gantz would therefore apparently involve a conflict with Syria -as well as Hizbullah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza and terrorists in Sinai. But that is not all.
"It is very possible," he continued, "that following this, there will be a cyber-attack on essential facilities like the Electric Company or banks, so that the routine of life will be disrupted. For this, we must prepare in all fields. And indeed, we do just that. We have divisions that are well aware of the arena, and are reinforced in terms of firepower and intelligence means."
