NGO Video: Soldiers Training In West Bank Cemetery

A video shot last Thursday by volunteers of a human rights group shows "Israeli" Forces troops training in close proximity to a Palestinian cemetery.

Some of the troops were dressed as Palestinian demonstrators, a few dozen meters away from another unit, whose job it was apparently to "break up the demonstration."

"We were shocked to discover last week that training was taking place in a cemetery in al-Khalil (Hebron), in blunt disregard of the respect to local civilians," said Yesh Din attorney Emily Schaeffer.

The military advocate-general has approved IOF training in Palestinian villages in the West Bank, according to a report in Haaretz on Tuesday.
