Al-Manar TV broadcasted Friday a video showing how the suicide bomber, bombed booby-trapped Grand Cherokee Thursday in the middle of a street in Haret Hreik.
According to the channel, a security camera in the area, showed how the car's driver was moving forward in a hesitant manner. At a certain point, he swiftly steers left after making a right turn.
As the security metal barriers prevented the driver from parking the SUV on the side of the road, the car suddenly exploded in a ball of fire, creating a big plume of smoke that quickly dissipated due to the bomb's small weight.
A number of citizens fleeing the blast scene also appear in the footage, which shows a school bus moving directly behind the explosives-rigged car.
Al-Manar however said the bus did not contain any students.
This comes as DNA test results confirmed the identity of a man from northern Lebanon as the suspected suicide bomber behind Thursday's terrorist attack in the southern Beirut suburbs.
The remains of 19-year-old Koteiba Mohammed al-Satem were discovered inside the vehicle that detonated in the Haret Hreik neighborhood Thursday afternoon killing at least four people and injuring dozens more.
The young man's father said his son had been missing since December 30, according to army sources who interrogated him on Friday.
