Rouhani: Iran Would Not Cross ‘Red Lines’ with P5+1

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani reiterated that his administration would not cross the "red lines" with the P5+1 countries on Tuesday.
During the 15th Summit of Iran's Assembly of Experts in Tehran, the Iranian President also stressed that the Islamic Republic would protect the nation's peaceful nuclear rights in the course of the discussions with the six other countries.
He further discussed that the anti-Iran sanctions are unjust and wrongfully imposed, saying all the US-led bans against the Islamic Republic must be lifted under a final deal over Iran's nuclear energy program.
"If our negotiating side also shows good will and political determination to resolve the [nuclear] issue in action, I believe we can reach a final deal in a short time, even in the first six months," added the Iranian president.
Iran and P5+1 are in talks to reach a long-term deal aimed at fully resolving the decade-old dispute over Iran's nuclear energy program. The next talks are to be held in Vienna on March 24.
The meeting of Iran's Assembly of Experts kicked off in the Iranian capital earlier on Tuesday. The body will hold talks on major national issues during the two-day event.
