Tens of thousands of Palestinian residents in occupied East al-Quds have spent three months without running water, after the "Israeli" water utility company has stopped supplies in March despite petitions and calls from human rights bodies, according to a Zionist NGO group on Monday.

’Israel’ Deprives Palestinians of Running Water Since March

According to so-called "B'Tselem" [the "Israeli" Information Center for "Human Rights" in the Occupied Territories], "Israel" stopped regular supplies of running water to several neighborhoods in occupied East al-Quds, such as Shuafat Refugee Camp, Ras Khamis, Ras Shehadeh and Dahiyat a-Salam.

It added "some households in these camps "have been completely cut off from the water supply" while others "receive water intermittently."

"An estimated 60,000 to 80,000 Palestinians...have been left without a regular water supply," "B'Tselem" said.

"The fact that people have to live without a proper water supply is but another outcome of the severe and ongoing neglect of the residents in the occupied al-Quds neighborhoods separated by the apartheid wall from the rest of occupied East al-Quds." "B'Tselem" further stated.
