Zionist troops shot and martyred a young Palestinian man by a gunshot wound to the chest in the al-Jalazun refugee camp north of Ramallah on Monday, Palestinian Red Crescent officials said.

The Palestinian man was shot dead as Zionist soldiers were conducting arrests as part of efforts to locate the three missing Zionist settlers.

The Zionist army could not immediately comment on the shooting, but said it was continuing its campaign of detaining dozens of Palestinians throughout occupied West Bank as part of its efforts to locate the missing youths.

Moreover, in a statement, the Zionist army said it arrested more than 40 Palestinians across the occupied West Bank overnight on Sunday, bringing up to 150 the number of arrests since the search began.

Among the detainees were several Palestinian lawmakers, including parliament speaker Aziz Dweik.

Zionist search efforts were focused on the occupied southern West Bank Hebron area, but increased military presence was felt throughout the entire territory, with dozens of Palestinians being detained for questioning.

Late Sunday night, Zionist forces blew up the door of a house in Hebron and arrested three people inside in a raid and wounding two children, Palestinian eyewitnesses and medics told  AFP.
