British Student Identified to be Recruiting ’ISIL’ Militants

A British national has been trying to recruit people to join Takfiri militants of the so-called "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" [ISIL] in Iraq and Syria in a recent video footage.

A Briton who is a Cardiff medical student, Nasser Muthana, was seen in a video, pleading with people to travel to Iraq and Syria to join the "ISIL."

Muthana's father, told The Daily Telegraph on Thursday that Nasser's 17-year-old brother, Aseel, was fighting alongside him. He claimed his sons were ‘brainwashed' in Britain.

His father had said his son had been accepted at four universities to study medicine but did not go, and he had not heard from him since November.

Up to 450 Britons are already feared to be fighting with "ISIL" in Syria or Iraq.

On Thursday, The Home Office said it would work with internet companies to stop terrorist messages being broadcast.

The "ISIL" video was taken down by YouTube on Thursday.
