Iran, G5+1 Countries Wrap Up 5th Round of Nuclear Talks

Representatives of Iran and the G5+1 countries ended a fifth round of nuclear talks in the Austrian city of Vienna on Friday, as they are in the process of drafting the text of a final deal to resolve the decade-old dispute over Tehran's nuclear program.
Iran and the G5+1 countries ended the nuclear talks after Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton held a new round of talks in Vienna on Friday afternoon.
The meeting between Zarif and Ashton concentrated on writing a final nuclear agreement.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi accompanied by Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for European and American affairs Majid Takht Ravanchi and EU foreign policy deputy chief Helga Schmidt also had another round of talks in Vienna on Friday morning.
On Wednesday, Zarif said that Iran and the G5+1 countries- the US, Russia, China, France and Britain- and Germany have started writing the text of final agreement.
Noting that the two sides had tough discussions over the past two days of talks in Vienna, he said, "Some stances of the other side are completely unacceptable."
Iran and the G5+1 countries have said that they are resolved to start drafting a long-awaited final deal in this round of talks.
Zarif and his accompanying team of negotiators arrived in Vienna on Monday morning to participate in the fifth round of talks between Tehran and the G5+1 countries in Austrian from June 16-20.
