"Israel" has begun sending troop reinforcements to the border with the seized Gaza Strip, war officials said on Thursday, as an apparent move into "preparing for a wider operation" in the area.

The "Israeli" War Forces began preparing for an escalation in the south and artillery forces training in other regions were transferred to the seized Gaza area.

A senior "Israeli" War Forces official said that the Zionist army was "preparing for a wider operation in [seized] Gaza," and Palestinians have reported that "Israeli" warships across from seized Gaza's shores also seem to be preparing.

"Israel" has been debating how to respond to the killing of three Zionists in the occupied West Bank, which it blames on Hamas, and threatens with tough action against it.

"Israel" has detained hundreds of Palestinians, killed six, and injured dozens as part of a large-scale detention campaign following the alleged disappearance of three Zionists on June 12.

The war officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter with the media.
