’Israeli’ Police Brutally Beat Up Palestinian in Occupied al-Quds: Video

A recent video posted by Palestine Today TV shows what appears to be masked "Israeli" border police in beating, kicking and stamping on a Palestinian man until he lost consciousness.

"Israeli" police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said he was unaware of the incident and had not seen the images.

"Israeli" security forces are using excessive force against protesters in occupied east al-Quds as violence escalated in the wake of a Palestinian teenager's death.

Over the past three days, the "Israeli" police have been exercising a so-called policy of "containment"- keeping a distance from the protesters, avoiding arrests and keeping the violence from spreading. However, six arrests were made in the occupied east al-Quds neighborhood of Shoafat on Thursday. Police brutality was also involved in all six cases, according to a Palestinian source.

One of the Palestinians arrested, Ahmad Jabarin, 14, complained of violence used against him while he was arrested and interrogated.

"They hit him and told him to curse his parents and Prophet Muhammad," said his brother.

Moreveover, photos of other youths who were beaten up by  police have surfaced on social media.
