’ISIL’ Terrorists Using Chemical Weapons?!
Local Editor
The terrorist "ISIL" group may have succeeded in obtaining chemical weapons-- a result that won't be published by the Syrian government nor by its allies.
This time, it was unveiled by the Zionist entity.
A new "Israeli" research claims that the "ISIL" may have succeeded in obtaining chemical weapons.
According to the study, it appears that the usage of chemical munitions began as early as July during the start of the organization's fight with Kurdish forces near the town of Kobani, Syria.
Moreover, at least three Kurdish fighters were killed as a result of the chemical attack, the report said.
These findings were part of a report published earlier this week by the so-called "The Global Research in International Affairs [GLORIA] Center operating in the IDC [Interdisciplinary Center] Herzliya."
The report drew gained public attention in recent days in major media outlets in the United States. Its author, Jonathan Spyer, used evidence and photos provided by Kurds from Kobani to prove his claim.
An "Israeli" expert who examined the photos of the deceased Kurds discovered that they died as a result of toxic gas attack, most likely sulfur mustard. "At least in one incident, the "Islamic State" used chemical weapons against the Syrian Kurds in Kobani," the report said.
Meanwhile, a former commander of the British Army's chemical and nuclear weapons protection forces has warned that "ISIL" has the capability of making battlefield dirty bombs.
It emerged that hundreds of shells filled with poison gas are stored unguarded in areas controlled by the jihadists.
Hamish de Bretton-Gordon, a former colonel, issued the warning after it was found that two large stockpiles of shells filled with mustard and sarin gas had not been made secure.
Bretton-Gordon said "ISIL" had shown it was determined to use chemical weapons in Syria and its advance in Iraq had put dangerous material within the group's grasp.
"These materials are not as secure as we had been led to believe and now pose some significant threat to the coalition in Iraq fighting ISIL" he said.
Isil seized the Muthanna State Establishment, where Iraqi chemical agent production was based in the Eighties, this summer. The New York Times reported on Wednesday that last year, two contaminated bunkers there containing cyanide components and sarin gas rockets as well as other shells had not been encased in concrete and made safe.
