DAILY SCOPE: Obama Says What Threatens Arab Governments is Not Iran

With more updates on the so-called "ISIL" ,and the latest developments on Yemen with the ongoing US-Saudi war on the country, newspapers on Tuesday analysed the interview of Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah with the Syrian al-Akhbariya TV, only ten days after his latest speech that dealt with the regional developments.

Nasrallah Important Leader Clarifying Stances on Developments --- AL-JOMHOURIYA

Analysing the speech of Hizbullah Secretary general His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Tareq Tarshishi in al-Jomhouriya newspaper wrote that some analysts see the appearance of Sayyed Nasrallah in an interview in less than two weeks after his last speech as due to his feeling that the region is undergoing major and decisive changes, and he, as a leader of an important power in the region has to have a clear stance on the events on the different issues.

According to the analyst "Sayyed Nasrallah was keen on sending messages to Arab and Muslim major players in the war on Yemen, noting for instance that the decision to go to war was made without the prior knowledge of an important Arab country that is considered as an ally to Saudi Arabia," with analysts concluding this would mean Abdel Fattah Sisi.

The analyst further underlined that despite the clear stances of Sayyed Nasrallah on the events in Yemen, he still reiterated the importance of dialogue between the Yemeni people to stop the war, especially after al-Qaeda took control over Hadramout, the vast land between Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

Al-Saud Head of Evil In Region -- - AL-AKHBAR

In an analysis to the latest situation in Yemen, Ibrahim al-Amine wrote that the head of all evil in the region in the Saud family, which leads every battle that takes to tarrying, ignorance, and pitch black obscurity.

"Today, they blatantly commit crimes in day time against a peoples that have suffered badly from their tyranny and oppression for long decades. Today, the commit the most heinous crimes of this age, and were not able to hide behind mercenaries like they did in Iraq and Syria. Today, they had to drop their masks that have not hid their faces that belong to the family of satan himself."

Problem in You Arabs not Iran: Obama --- THE WALL STREET JOURNAL

US President Barack Obama says what threatens the Arab governments is the increasing dissatisfaction inside their countries, not the growing influence of Iran in the region.

"The biggest threats that they [Arab counties] face may not be coming from Iran invading. It's going to be from dissatisfaction inside their own countries," Obama said in an interview with the New York Times on Sunday.

The US president referred to internal problems in the Arab countries, including "alienated populations" and "youth underemployment."

"Part of our job is to work with these states and say, ‘How can we build your defense capabilities against external threats, but also, how can we strengthen the body politic in these countries... That's a tough conversation to have, but it's one that we have to have," Obama said.

ISIS are Pop Idols in Eyes of British Teenagers --- THE GURDIAN

Hundreds of British teenagers are in danger of being radicalised by the so-called Islamic State (Isis) because they see the terrorists as "pop idols", the country's leading Muslim prosecutor has said.

Nazir Afzal believes that recent departures to Syria show that "many more children" are at risk of what he terms "jihadimania" than was previously thought.
"The boys want to be like them and the girls want to be with them," he said.

"That's what they used to say about the Beatles and more recently One Direction and Justin Bieber. The propaganda the terrorists put out is akin to marketing, and too many of our teenagers are falling for the image.
"They see their own lives as poor by comparison, and don't realise they are being used. The extremists treat them in a similar way to sexual groomers - they manipulate them, distance them from their friends and families, and then take them."

Afzal said: "At the moment, even the language is wrong. People talk about Isis as if they have some kind of religious basis or political dimension - a kind of glossy, glorious campaign.

"The reality is that they're no more than narcissistic, murderous cowboys. We need to stand up and say that very, very clearly, rather than allow kids to be drawn to them like the equivalent of pop idols."

Around 600 young Muslims are thought to have left the country to join Isis fighters in Syria.

Stances and Positions:

Saudi Arabia Attacks Remind of "Israeli" Assault on Gaza --- Media Relations
Head of Hizbullah Juristic Committee Sheikh Mohammad Yazbeck said that "The Arabs today should depend on themselves to serve the Arab nation rather than form an army to attack a neighbouring country."
"The images we see in the aggressive attack on Yemen and the Saudi air raids remind us of the "Israeli" war jets attacks and assault on the Gaza Strip."

If West Violates Agreement, Iran to Reciprocate --- IRNA

Nozar Shafiei, a member of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, told Iran Daily that the framework announced in the Swiss city of Lausanne has enhanced Iran's status in the world.

Shafiei said if the US were to infringe on the terms of the final agreement, Iran would be entitled to declare the US violator of an international agreement.
'Both sides have to abide by the terms of the final agreement. If the other side violates the terms, Iran will be entitled to reciprocate,' he said.
