Iran's Supreme Leader Accuses Saudis of Genocide in Yemen

Once again the Lebanese arena witnesses major achievements on confronting terrorism that springs from the extremist movements in Syria. Papers also tackled the speech delivered by leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who harshly criticized Saudi Arabia for its aggression on Yemen and touched on the nuclear deal.
Nusra Front Affiliated Terrorist Source to Important Information --- As-Safir
The Lebanese Internal Security forces shot dead the notorious extremist militant Osama Mansour and another terrorist in the northern city of Tripoli Thursday evening. During the clash with the police, sources said Mansour was wearing an explosive belt. Meanwhile, four other terrorists were arrested after the shootout.
Mansour, who was close to Lebanon's top fugitive Shadi Mawlawi [both believed to have links with al-Nusra front], was wanted over plotting several attacks against the Army in Tripoli. He also took part in clashes between the neighborhoods of Bab al-Tabbaneh and Jabal Mohsen. Also, fugitive known as Sheikh Khaled Hablas was injured during the clashes. Sources told As-Safir newspaper that Hablas is an important catch who might revela a lot more information on the terrorist groups and sleeping cells.
Unprecedented Iran Stance: Saudi Arabia Crimes Like "Israeli" Genocide --- An-Nahar
In an unprecedented stance on Saudi Arabia, An-Nahar newspaper said that leader of the Islamic Revolution on the 15th day to the beginning of the attacks on Yemen, firmly demanded Saudi Arabia to stop its aggression, calling it crime and genocide.
Touching upon the developments in Yemen, the Leader denounced the Saudi aggression against the Arab country as a "mistake," saying the invasion has "set a bad precedent in the region."
The Saudi aggression against Yemen compares to "Israeli" atrocities against Palestinians in Gaza, Ayatollah Khamenei noted, slamming Riyadh's attacks against the Yemeni people as a "crime and genocide" which could be prosecuted in international courts.
Ayatollah Khamenei suggested that what has been done so far cannot ensure a final deal.
"What has been done so far neither guarantees [the clinching of] an agreement itself and its contents, nor ensures that the negotiations would proceed to the end," the Leader highlighted.
Saudi Conflict Impedes Dialogue in Lebanon --- Al-Akhbar
This Tuesday, Lebanon will not witness a dialogue between the two major political parties, Hizbullaha and the Future party who have started dialogue to safeguard the country from strife and insecurity.
According to al-Akhbar daily, The Future party seeks to postpone the coming dialogue session for at least one week, under the pretext that head of the Party's office Nader Hariri has traveled abroad.
Sources from the Future party said ‘there is increasing tension that does not allow dialogue to be held, and the general ambiance is not appropriate for talks,' adding that the ‘officials in Riyadh cannot tolerate the comments of Hizubllah officials, not to mention that the statements of Iran on Saudi Arabia indicate that the situation is moving towards escalation.'
Meanwhile, the paper quoted Head of Hizbullah's Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Mohammed Raad as criticizing on Thursday Future party positions on the Saudi-led airstrikes on Yemen, saying that linking Iran to the developments in Yemen and Lebanon are a "major mistake."
He said in a statement: "Only ignorants and cowards remain silent over Saudi Arabia's genocide in Yemen."
"We call on Hariri and all of his advisors to listen to their conscience and revise their policies, especially since it appears that the so-called Saudi-led Decisive Storm operation is reaching a dead end," he added.
"They should instead focus on avoiding destroying Lebanon and avoiding stirring sectarian tensions," he said, while emphasizing the importance of coexistence in confronting challenges.
More Youth Joining ISIS --- The Guardian
The families of two "ordinary Yorkshire lads" who are feared to have travelled to Syria have issued pictures of the teenagers, said the Guardian on Friday.
Hassan Munshi and Talha Asmal, both 17 and from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, are thought to have fled to the war-torn country after catching a holiday flight to Turkey on 31 March.
Earlier this week, their families issued an urgent appeal for the boys to return home and said they were gravely worried that they had fled to join Islamic State fighters. Now the families have released passport-style photographs of the pair in a further plea for information on their whereabouts.
