’Israeli’ Forces Escalate Violence upon Palestinians

Four Palestinians were injured on Friday when "Israeli" troops forcibly dispersed anti-settlement rallies in the occupied West Bank. Likewise, a Palestinian teenager was shot in the head.

The Zionist forces used rubber bullets and teargas to disperse Palestinians who had gathered in the West Bank city of Ramallah to protest ongoing "Israeli" settlement construction.
Further, one Palestinian was injured and scores suffered temporary asphyxiation from teargas fired by "Israeli" forces.
Three protesters were also injured when the Zionist forces dispersed a rally in the town of Bil'in.
Moreover, since 2005, Bil'in residents had staged weekly rallies each Friday to protest ongoing settlement building by the Zionist entity and its separation wall, which snaked through the occupied West Bank isolating several Palestinian communities.
Similar rallies were also seen Friday in the West Bank towns of Silwad, Ni'lin and al-Masara.
However, the rallies were typically dispersed by force by the "Israeli" army.
According to the Palestinian government in Ramallah, the separation barrier effectively cuts some 50,000 Palestinian residents of occupied East al-Quds off from the city center.
In a related notion, a 17-year-old Palestinian is in critical condition after he was shot in the head by "Israeli" forces in northern Beit Lahiya in the Gaza Strip on Friday, amid reports that "Israeli" forces also shot and injured a Palestinian fisherman.
Ashraf al-Qidra, spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, said the 17-year-old boy had been shot in the head and had been moved for treatment.
An "Israeli" army spokeswoman confirmed the shooting.
A Palestinian fisherman was also shot by "Israeli" forces while fishing in the sea off Gaza.
The shooting of the 17-year-old comes less than a month after another teenage boy, 14-year-old Fadi Abu Mandil was critically injured by a stray "Israeli" bullet while studying in his home in the central Gaza Strip.
Abu Mandil was moved to Ramallah on Tuesday last week to undergo surgery in his spine, as his family said the boy was unable to walk.
