Al-Nusra Settled in Arsal, Field Hospital to Treat Injured ---AL-BINAA

Security sources told al-Binaa newspaper that the terrorist groups from al-Nusra Front have settled in some areas of the Arsal outskirts and a few of its neighborhoods, noting that a field hospital has been set up to treat the injured armed extremists who have been hit in battle. According to the sources, a Syrian Doctor is carrying out the job; he had studies medicine in the Soviet Union.

Sources stressed that the situation in Arsal is ‘Odd', and should be resolved through the entering of the Lebanese army to Arsal and the continuation of the Hizbullah battles in the barren lands. The sources further added that Arsal is considered as a logistic spot for the terrorist groups of al-Nusra front and so-called Free Syrian Army, and therefore constitutes the main station for the groups.

A Day with Resistance Fighters --- AS-SAFIR

As-Safir Lebanese daily said it was hosted for one day by Hizbullah resistance fighters, noting that the movement has major capabilities to confront the "Israeli" army.

Describing the readiness of the resistance, As-Safir not only pointed out the technical promptness but said it was utmost ready on all levels, even detail such as nutrition and food.
The paper noted that "all those who visit the Southern borders and meet the resistance fighters, will realize that Hizbullah's major structure in confronting "Israel" has not changed or ultered. The posts are not vacuum, not even for seconds, and those who have to finish work at the Syrian borders return to their posts as soon as their mission is accomplished.

This Land is Ours ---THE GUARDIAN

"Israel's" new deputy foreign minister on Thursday delivered a defiant message to the international community, saying that "Israel" owes no apologies for its policies in the ‘Holy Land' and citing religious texts to back her belief that it belongs to the Jewish people, reported the Guardian.

The speech by Tzipi Hotovely illustrated the influence of hardliners in Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's new government, and the challenges he will face as he tries to persuade the world that he is serious about pursuing peace with the Palestinians.
In an inaugural address to "Israeli" diplomats, Hotovely said "Israel" has tried too hard to appease the world and must stand up for itself.

"We need to return to the basic truth of our rights to this country," she said. "This land is ours. All of it is ours. We did not come here to apologise for that."
"We expect as a matter of principle of the international community to recognise Israel's right to build homes for Jews in their homeland, everywhere," she said. During the recent election campaign, Netanyahu angered his western allies by saying he would not permit the establishment of a Palestinian state on his watch.

Gaza Highest World Unemployment ---THE NATIONAL

The Gaza Strip has the world's highest unemployment and Palestinians, Israelis and donors must take action to avoid a "dangerous fiscal crisis," the World Bank said Friday.

The report, prepared ahead of the bi-annual meeting of the Ad Hoc Liaison Committee (AHLC) which coordinates international donor support for the Palestinians, comes nearly a year after the 50-day conflict between Gaza militants and Israel, in which around 2,200 Palestinians were killed.

According to the World Bank, the virtual disappearance of Gaza's exports can be explained by no other variable than "war and the blockade."
"The impact of the blockade imposed in 2007 was particularly devastating, with GDP losses caused by the blockade estimated at above 50 percent and large welfare losses," the report said of the blockade imposed by neighbours Israel and Egypt.

The World Bank said that to rebuild Gaza's economy, "a unified Palestinian government in both West Bank and Gaza" was required.
It called for the "lifting of the blockade on the movement of goods and people to allow Gaza's tradable sectors to recover."

The report said that of the $3.5 billion pledged by the international community for Gaza's reconstruction just 27.5 percent, or nearly $1.0 billion, had been disbursed so far.
