Velayati: Saudi Attacks on Yemen in Line with US, ’Israeli’ Policies

The advisor of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ali
Akbar Velayati, stated that the US is working with the Zionist regime to
implement a unified plot in a sequential manner in the Middle East, as
he said in an interview on Sunday.

In an interview with IRIB on Sunday, Velayati said, "This unprecedented attempt is aimed at creating their desired changes".
He noted that all these programs first of all started in Syria and then reached Iraq, Yemen and also Pakistan; given the presence of the so-called "Daesh" ["ISIL"] in Northern Afghanistan their future program is against China in the vast Asian country's Xinjiang province.
Velayati pointed to Iran's aids to the Yemeni nation and said that, "Iran has provide non-military aid to Yemen and Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei has said the Yemenis do not Iran's weaponry aid."
He condemned the Saudi aggressions against Yemen and said, "These attacks are in line with the same policies of the US and the Zionists in the region."
On another level, Velayati highlighted that "the Islamic Republic of Iran is determined to proceed with nuclear negotiations and is highly hopeful that these talks would end in positive and favorable results for Iran."
In a meeting with Jordanian media crews in Tehran on Sunday, the Iranian official emphasized that Iran would never bow to "any imposition" in the nuclear talks.
The official said Iran's refusal to allow inspection of its military sites and agree to interrogation of Iranian nuclear scientists are the two conditions set by the Islamic Republic in the talks with world powers.
Velayati expressed hope that the ongoing talks between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council - the United States, France, Britain, Russia and China - plus Germany would bear fruits before June 30, the deadline set by the two sides for a final deal.
He, however, cast doubt on the outcomes of the talks if the US makes excessive demands.
