A man hiding in the undercarriage of a British Airways jet fell to his death minutes before the aircraft touched on London's Heathrow airport.
The victim fell onto a shop in southwest London.
The deadly incident took place on Thursday. The plane was flying from Johannesburg to London.
The British Airways announced that a second man, also hiding in the undercarriage of the plane, was injured and hospitalized.
Aged between 25 and 30, the second man was discovered alive by BA staff at Heathrow.
The two men are believed to have clung on to the aircraft as it flew over 8,000 miles from South Africa to Britain.
"We are working with the Metropolitan Police and the authorities in Johannesburg to establish the facts surrounding this very rare case," the airline was quoted as saying by the British media on Friday.
