Lebanese newspapers on Thursday highlighted several domestic and regional issues that have been the talk of the town for the past weeks. The families of the Lebanese kidnapped soldiers warn of taking to the streets again as they celebrate their third Eid holiday without their relatives who have been captive in the hands of the terrorist groups since one year.

DAILY SCOPE: Political Solution in Yemen after Eid Holidays

Meanwhile, Sayyed Nasrallah's televise interview breaks the silence of the holidays, and a meeting between the Iranians and Saudis is anticipated to take place in New York soon, which might also break the ice and bring an end to the Presidential impasse in Lebanon.

The dailies also shed light on the latest developments in Yemen and Syria.

Families of Cative Soldiers to Resort to Streets --- AS-SAFIR

Families of the Lebanese soldiers taken hostage by terrorist takfiris in August 2014 have warned that they would resort to the streets again after the Eid al-Adha holidays.

"All options are available, including returning to the blocking of streets," Nizam Moughit, the brother of one of the captives, told As-Safir daily published on Thursday.

"This is the third Eid that we celebrate and there is no one taking action," he said. "This is why we should move after the Eid to put forth bigger pressure on the officials so that we reach the results we want."

The soldiers were taken hostage by the extremist group so-called the "Islamic State" and al-Qaida-linked al-Nusra Front when they overran the northeastern border town of Arsal in August last year.

The frustrated relatives have on several occasions resorted to the streets, blocking major roads, yet their efforts have not led to any results as Lebanese officials have taken no serious action.

This takes place as Lebanese officials, mainly Lebanon's only negotiator General Security chief Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim claim that the captives are doing well.

Sayyed Nasrallah's Speech to Focus on Russian Presence in Syria --- AL-JOMHOURIA

Al-Jomhouria newspaper on Thursday said that Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah will dedicate a major part of his televised interview via al-Manar TV on Friday to discuss the Russian presence in Syria and its impact on the battleground and on politics.

He will discuss whether this would in fact lead to a military escalation or would rather allow approaching a political solution, the paper said.

Russia delivered new arms including warplanes to Syria as the Syrian army escalated its operations against the terrorists, officials said Tuesday, in a sign that Moscow's growing support for its Damascus is having an effect.

Another military source in Latakia confirmed that the army had received spy planes and other equipment "that will allow Syrian ground and air forces to accurately identify targets."

Also, the paper pointed out that "The Secretary General will also shed light on the situation in Syria's Zabadani and the negotiations taking place on the areas of Kafraya and Fou'a."

As for the domestic arena, the paper said Sayyed Nasrallah will tackle the different local pending files, such as the presidential impasse, the cabinet performance, the national dialogue and the waste management plan.

Terrorist Cells under Surveillance, Lebanon's Security Safeguarded --- AS-SAFIR

Military sources told As-Safir Lebanese daily that the security situation in the country is under control and in good status, noting that there is much focus on the sleeping terrorist groups and networks that are under constant surveillance and monitoring.

The source further told the paper that the Lebanese army is at utmost readiness whether inside Lebanon or at the borderlines, and set to protect Lebanon's security, encircle the terrorist groups and dismantle them.

Saudi-Iranian Talks in New York Soon? --- AL-LIWAA

Well-informed sources told al-Liwaa newspaper on Thursday that Saudi and Iranian officials will most-likely meet in New York during the coming ten days, in an attempt to ease the tension and bring about a better atmosphere between the two countries and that might have a direct positive impact on Lebanon.

This, according to the sources is important, as it might help in the success of the intensive dialogue session in Lebanon which might bring an end to the presidential impasse in the country.

On a related note, Prime Minister Tammam Salam traveled to New York on Thursday heading the Lebanese delegation that would represent Lebanon at the U.N. General Assembly and the meeting of the International Support Group for Lebanon.

Salam is expected to hold meetings with top world leaders on the sidelines of the General Assembly.

Political Solution Expected in Yemen after Eid Holidays --- AL-BINAA

"The sudden arrival of Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi to Aden in preparation for his stepping down to allow his deputy Khaled Bahhah to come to office is part of a settlement that should see light by the beginning of this coming month," a well-informed source told al-Binaa newspaper on Thursday.

According to a source directly related to the talks in Muscat, "the settlement between the two Yemeni camps will be officially declared after the al-Adha eid holidays."

The source further said that the road map to the settlement has become clear, which includes a set of issues that are the base to a political solution. By virtue of the settlement, the Yemeni people will be able to see a national unity government, as the legislators meet and agree upon the formation process.
