’ISIS’ Has Passport-printing Machine!
Local Editor
American authorities warned that "ISIS" followers may have infiltrated American borders with authentic-looking passports the terrorist group has printed itself with its own machines.
An intelligence report said that "ISIS" likely has been able to print legitimate-looking Syrian passports since taking over the city of Deir ez-Zour last summer, home to a passport office with "boxes of blank passports" and a passport printing machine. Another passport office was located in Raqqa, Syria, which has long been "ISIS's" claimed capital.
The concern was made public by FBI Director James Comey. Consequently, fraudulent passports would help terrorist infiltrators pose as refugees coming from Syria.
Relatively, fraudulent Syrian passports were used by two suicide bombers involved in the Paris attacks last month. They are believed to have traveled to Europe among the refugees from Syria, of whom hundreds of thousands have flooded into the continent this year.
Previously, European media covering the refugee crisis reported that obtaining a passport illegally in Syria is very easy.
In a related context, the Homeland Security Investigations [HIS] report said "If "ISIS" ability to produce passports is not controlled, their operations will continue to increase and expand outside of their operational controlled areas."
For his part, Former Department of [HIS] official and ABC News consultant John Cohen said, "If "ISIS" has been able to acquire legitimate passports or machines that create legitimate passports, this would represent a major security risk in the United States."
