Online media linked to the terrorist group "ISIS" released photos showing the use of US-made TOW anti-tank missiles, in another case of arms supplies meant for "moderate" insurgents ending up in the hands of "ISIS".

Social media accounts linked to "ISIS" released photos of the group's militant men using US-made TOW anti-tank missiles in Syria's Aleppo province.

According to the release, the missiles being used are located north of Kweires Airbase, which was recently liberated from "ISIS" by the Syrian Army. The "ISIS"-held area in that part of Syria is adjacent to the Turkish border.

The source of the US-made arms is unknown, although previous reports had indicated links to both Turkey and US-backed militants for arms procurement.

A former member of "ISIS" recently told Sputnik Turkey that he engaged in basic training and target practice for the group while inside Turkish territory.
