Members of Daesh [the Arabic acronym for the terrorist "ISIS" group] executed dozens of civilians in Iraq's western province of al-Anbar as well as the northern province of Nineveh.
Relatively, a commander of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization units, Colonel Mahmoud Mardi Jumaili, said Daesh killed 35 people in Fallujah on Wednesday after accusing them of attempting to escape from the city, Iraqi News reported.
Jumaili added that Daesh extremists executed the victims by firing squad in front of onlookers in the central Industrial District of Fallujah.
"Daesh chased the families who tried to escape from Nizal area south of the city," Jumaili explained, pointing out that, "Daesh threatened to behead the residents of Fallujah if they tried to leave the city."
Also on Wednesday, Deash terrorists electrocuted at least 15 civilians in the central Bab al-Toub neighborhood of Mosul, for allegedly collaborating with the government and passing information to state officials.
The northern and western parts of Iraq have been plagued by gruesome violence ever since Daesh terrorists mounted an offensive in June 2014.
The militants have been committing crimes against all ethnic and religious communities in Iraq, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians.
The Iraqi army together with fighters from the Popular Mobilization units has been engaged in operations to liberate militant-held regions.
