Al-Assad: Liberating Aleppo is a Victory for Iran, Russia and Syria, A Step towards Ending War

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad welcomed Thursday Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Jaberi Ansari and the accompanying delegation.
The meeting discussed latest developments on both regional and international levels, in which Jaberi Ansari informed al-Assad about the exerted diplomatic efforts to help put an end to the terrorist war imposed on the Syrian people, especially regarding the trilateral meeting that was held in Moscow between ministers of Iran, Russia and Turkey.
The conference stressed the importance of the recent victory that was achieved in Aleppo as a basic step on the road of ending terrorism in the whole of Syrian territory as well as providing the suitable environment to find a solution that ends the war.
Al-Assad emphasized that liberating Aleppo from terrorism is not only a victory for Syria but also for all those who are actually contributing to combatting terrorism, namely Iran and Russia. The liberation at the same time represents a calamity for all the countries that are against Syria and that used terrorism to achieve their goals.
For his part, Jaberi Ansari made clear that the strategic ties between Syria and Iran over decades contributed to fortifying both countries and the region in general against all foreign plans. He further stressed that Iran is determined to continue ties development and offering all requirements to boost Syrian people's stability and endurance against terrorism.
