«Israeli» Bulldozer Removes Concrete Blocks along Lebanon Border

An armored "Israeli" bulldozer Monday removed slabs of concrete from a main road on Lebanon's side of the Blue Line, installing a steel fence.
The state-run National News Agency reported that "Israeli" military personnel watched over the bulldozer as it took apart concrete on the road that leads from Bastra Farm to the occupied Shebaa Farms.
Lebanese military personnel and United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon [UNIFIL] forces observed the operation.
The NNA also said that a steel fence was being built, isolating occupied Shebaa Farms from Lebanese territory.
Development and Liberation bloc MP Qassem Hashem denounced the new "Israeli" violation.
Hashem said that the steel gate was installed inside the Blue Line, condemning the "Israeli" incursion 100 kilometers into liberated territory.
He described the incident as "a new occupation of liberated [Lebanese] land, despite the ‘Israelis'' claim [that they are] isolation territories."
The MP called on Lebanese authorities and the international community to act immediately to "put an end to the violations and ‘Israeli' acts."
On Saturday, the "Israeli" entity dispersed dozens of Lebanese protesters with tear gas who were rallying against the installation of surveillance equipment on the border.
MP Hashem and a number of journalists were present at the rally. Several people were treated for breathing difficulties after the incident.
While "Israeli" sources claim that the protesters had crossed the border, Lebanese sources reported otherwise.
According to UNIFIL, there are around 10,500 peacekeeping troops in Lebanon today. Since their deployment in 1978, 312 had died.
