In a clarification of what was circulated by some media agencies concerning the Dohat Aramoun incident and the issue of inexact information, Hizbullah Media Relations would like to make note of the following:
At around five thirty this afternoon, and after a cleric residing in the Dohat Aramoun area was beaten up by a member of the Progressive Socialist Party named "Danny A.". A number of residents in the neighborhood defended him whilst the named Danny opened fire on them using a 'Bomb Action' hunting rifle. A Lebanese army patrol was passing through the area at the time, the matter which led to the injury of a soldier by a bullet from the hunting rifle, preliminary reports have it. The matter is in the hands of the Lebanese army, and the man who opened fire along with other accomplices is under arrest.
