Lebanon Refers «Israeli» Violation to the UN

Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil has asked Lebanon's mission to the United Nations to file a complaint to the Security Council regarding a recent airspace violation by the "Israeli" entity, a statement from the Foreign Ministry said Saturday.
Bassil issued a directive to Lebanon's ambassador to the UN in New York to lodge an urgent complaint to the Security Council "after ‘Israeli' authorities admitted to conducting a missile attack against targets on Syrian territories from Lebanese airspace," the statement said.
"Israeli" warplanes Thursday targeted a military position in the Hama province town of Masyaf. The Syrian army announced that the entity had launched the strike from Lebanese airspace.
During a meeting Friday, Lebanon's Higher Defense Council requested that Bassil send a complaint to the United Nations Security Council regarding "Israel's" violation of Lebanon's airspace to target Syria.
