With Hezbollah’s situation growing in the region, the “Israeli” entity’s fears amass that the group might still have more devastating tricks under its sleeve. To this extent, the entity organized a tour at the tunnel site near Metula.

A delegation of United Nations ambassadors toured a site near Metula where the “Israeli” Occupation Forces [IOF] discovered a tunnel during its so-called Operation “Northern Shield”. Engineering troops gave the diplomats a tour of the tunnel using a robotic camera.

The tour was organized by the “Israeli” entity’s Ambassador to the UN Danny Dannon. The diplomats met with the entity’s President Reuven Rivlin and its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the morning before flying, with seven helicopters, from al-Quds [Jerusalem] to the north of the country.

Dannon briefed the group on the tunnels discovered by the IOF. He stressed that they entered under “Israeli”-occupied Palestinian territory and that all operations were conducted in the entity and did not cross into Lebanon. He also stressed the high cost of their construction and the Iranian funding for them.

The Panamanian Ambassador Melitón Arrocha Ruíz said that he came to see firsthand the hostile activities against the “Israeli” entity.

South Sudan Ambassador Akuei Bona Malwal noted the importance of coming to see the facts on the ground.
