Lebanon Records 1,236 COVID-19 Cases, 9 Deaths

Lebanon registered 1,236 new coronavirus cases and nine deaths in the last 24-hour period, the Health Ministry said Sunday.
Among the new cases recorded, 37 were from travelers arriving from abroad, bringing the total number of cases to 137,112 since the virus was first detected in late February. The total number of virus-related deaths now stands at 1,099.
A total of 11,221 PCR tests were administered in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate of the tests in the last two weeks stood at 14.7 percent.
