Iranian Army Navy Commander Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi underscored on Monday that the powerful presence of Navy forces of both Army and Islamic Revolution Guard [IRG] has deterred any aggression by the foes, as they know that any threat would receive a crushing response.
Khanzadi made the remarks in a meeting of the Navy commanders of Army and IRG, saying security in the Gulf, Strait of Hormuz and Oman Gulf is guaranteed by the Iranian Navy.
The navy commander also underlined that harmony between Navy forces of the Army and IRG would avert any destabilizing measures by interventionist forces from outside the region.
For his part, IRG Navy Commander Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri said that the forces have been in full harmony at all levels and this would never fade away.
Tangsiri stated that the foes of Iran have been shocked by its Navy power.
Relatively, the Army and IRG Navy commanders signed a memorandum of understanding on intelligence, educational and research cooperation.
