The Rocketry Force of the Yemeni Armed Forces on Monday struck a sensitive military target at Saudi Arabia’s Abha International Airport with a new, yet to be revealed, ballistic missile.

Spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier General Yehya Saree confirmed that the missile targeted Abha International Airport with extreme precision.

Saree further indicated that this targeting comes within the framework of the natural and legitimate right to respond to the continuation of the aggression and siege on our country.

On Sunday, Saree said in a tweet that 14 Sammad and Qasef-2K drones as well as eight ballistic missiles were used in an earlier operation dubbed “Balance of Deterrence 6”, which targeted Saudi military bases in Dammam, Asir and Jizan regions. The new operation also took aim at facilities of Saudi oil firm Aramco in Ras Tannoura.
