Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stressed that “The time has come for the US to make difficult decisions and resume honoring the nuclear deal in full.”
In remarks from Vienna, the top Iranian diplomat underscored that he “thinks this is the time for the US to make its difficult decisions to return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action [JCPOA] and resume the full implementation of its commitments under the JCPOA and lift all sanctions.”
Araqchi further highlighted: “We leave Vienna today with hope that we would resume our job next week and hopefully we can conclude it.”
The most recent round of JCPOA negotiations that have begun on April 6 examine the potential of revitalization of the nuclear deal and the US’ likely return to it.
