Lebanese PM-Designate Mitaki Reports Slow Progress towards Forming Gov’t

Lebanon’s Prime Minister-designate Najib Mitaki said Thursday slow progress was achieved toward forming a new government in talks with President Michel Aoun.

"President Aoun and I achieved progress towards forming a government, even if this progress was slow," he said after his fifth meeting with the president since he was designated to form a government last week.

"Today's meeting was a positive step forward”.
