Labor Minister Mohammad Fneish said that Thursday's events in southern Lebanon are "an "Israeli" aggression on Lebanon."
Before entering a cabinet meeting in the Grand Serail, Fneish said "Israel" continued to infringe on the rights of a number of Arab countries, and "what we have seen today may be part of these attacks."

In response to a question on the responsibility of the Katyusha rockets launched toward "Israel" from South Lebanon, Fneish responded, "When Hizbullah does something; it announces it and has no problem doing so."
