Larijani meets Nasrallah: Proposals on Gaza ceasefire should be discussed with Palestinian legitimate cabinet

Asian Parliamentary Troika delegation met with Prime Minister Fouad Saniora on Friday at the Grand Serail and discussed the Gaza crisis.

Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani called for an immediate ceasefire, ensuring the minor rights of the Palestinian people, opening the border crossings, and the "Israeli" withdrawal from the Gaza Strip. He added that any party offering help should discuss the situation with the legitimate Palestinian cabinet.

"We are continuing our efforts, and we welcome all countries' proposals," he noted.
The delegation had also met with Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
