Wahhab: Egypt & Saudi Arabia accomplices in the Gaza crisis

15-01-2009
"Saudi Arabia is financing the offensive on Gaza, Egypt is exercising siege and 'Israel' is implementing the attack", Tawhid Movement leader Wiam Wahhab told New TV on Thursday.
Wahhab fiercely criticized Saudi Arabia and Egypt for their positions on the Gaza crisis. He sent a message to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak saying "it is forbidden to eliminate Hamas, as it was prohibited to do the same with Hizbullah."
He also said that were "others [who] are agents working for [US Secretary of State Condoleezza] Rice and ['Israeli' Foreign Minister Tzipi] Livni... while only the Arabs are supporting Gazans" in their crisis.
Concerning the recent rocket-launching from South Lebanon into North "Israel", Wahhab stated that "domestic parties" were responsible for the incidents.
He wondered if this was the "time to discuss the [upcoming] parliamentary elections as some are doing," as some might try to make political gains of the current Gaza crisis and the fragile situation in the South.
