Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem has said that Gaza "is the symbol, the cause, the resistance and the human dignity."

Speaking in a forum on resistance and anti-imperialism in Beirut on Friday evening, Sheikh Qassem stressed Gaza does not need remote advice, "it needs real support and any nation that wants to be with Gaza has to sever ties with ‘Israel', send aids and open crossings, not just stand helpless."
"What crime is more gross than the crime being committed in Gaza?" his eminence asked.
Sheikh Qassem lauded the Doha summit over Gaza and saluted everyone who attended it "because they represent the voice that assists the trend of the resistance."

The Hizbullah Deputy S.G stressed the Resistance in Lebanon no longer had to hide in the dark after the 2006 July War.

"The Resistance is a path we proclaim and the Resistance we mean is military resistance. We tell the world that we will arm and we will call for the smuggling of missiles - rather, that they be given publicly," his eminence said.

"Resistance is our way to liberation. The Security Council cannot liberate us, and the truth is that UN Security Council resolutions are the choice to surrender," he added.
