MP Fadlallah hopes Arab reconciliation is translated to practical policy
20-1-2009
Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Hassan Fadlallah said that Hizbullah supported Arab reconciliation achieved in Kuwait on Monday and hoped it would "correct" the track of Arab policy on a practical level.
In an interview with the Central News Agency on Tuesday, Fadlallah said that the success of this reconciliation was linked to Arab countries' ability to agree on principles starting with the "Israeli" threat. The reconciliation, if completed, would have positive results and would resolve many problems, he said. He added that this reconciliation came after the developments in Lebanon and in Gaza showed that the choice of resistance has succeeded while the choice of settlement has failed despite all Arab states' concessions.
Fadlallah also said that Hizbullah always supported honesty and reconciliation since the Doha agreement to keep the situation in Lebanon stable and all Lebanese stood united to face the "Israeli" danger after what happened in Gaza.
