The United States warplanes renewed their airstrikes on the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, and other governorates on Sunday evening, marking a continued escalation in the aggression on the country.

US aircraft reportedly conducted two airstrikes on the Attan area, located south of the capital, amid ongoing overflights in Sanaa’s airspace.

Yemen’s Ministry of Health reported that 12 people were martyred and 30 others wounded as a result of the US strikes targeting the Farwah neighborhood and a popular market in the Shu’ub District of Sanaa.

Reports added that US forces also launched three airstrikes on the al-Jubah district in the southern part of the Marib governorate, located in the northeast of the country.

Additional air raids targeted Kamaran Island in the Hodeidah governorate, situated on the western coast of Yemen.

The northern governorate of Saada was also struck five times by US aircraft just after midnight. Nearly an hour later, strikes targeted the al-Mahwit Mountain and the 'Amran governorate.

On Monday morning, American aerial attacks renewed targeting the Sirwah district in Marib.

The President of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, stressed that Yemen remains undeterred by any challenges arising from its stance in supporting Gaza and its resistance, adding, "We cannot stand by while the Americans and 'Israelis' single out the Palestinian people in Gaza."

In a message addressed to US President Donald Trump, Al-Mashat stated that "the Yemeni people are not intimidated by your missiles, bombs, or strategic bombers."
