An "Israeli" drone targeted a car on Wednesday morning at the entrance to Wadi al-Hujayr, near the town of Qaqaiyat al-Jisr in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon.
The "Israeli" drone targeted a car with two missiles, causing it to catch fire.
In related news, the National News Agency [NNA] reported that "a technical malfunction in an enemy 'Israeli' drone led to its crash this morning and its explosion in a house in the town of Shebaa, Hasbaya District," noting that the damage was limited to material losses.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on May 8 that one person was martyred and eight others were injured as a result of "Israeli" airstrikes on Nabatieh.
Earlier the same morning, "Israeli" warplanes unleashed a wave of strikes on southern Lebanon, striking the Nabatieh district with over 20 air raids. As per reports, the "Israeli" fire barrage targeted Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Kfar Tebnit, and Kfar Rumman.
"Israel" has violated the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon thousands of times since it went into effect on November 27, 2024, violating Lebanese airspace, bombing Lebanese villages in the south and the Bekaa, attacking Beirut's Southern Suburb, and maintaining its occupation of five locations in the South.
