Izzedin: Opposition will provide a new model in governance

The Arab Relations Official in Hizbullah, Sheikh Hassan Izzeddine stressed "the importance of the electoral process and for people to go to the ballot box to express their will as to whom they want in political power to govern."

Izzeddine emphasized that the opposition "with its sectarian and political diversity will engage in this battle in order to win it, and to extend a hand to the opposite camp so there can be true partnership. Should the other side refuse, the opposition, with its sectarian and political diversity is quite capable of bearing that responsibility."

"Thus, the opposition will provide a new model and a new experiment in governance and in commitment to the basic and essential issues of the people and the country, to maintain the strength and sovereignty of Lebanon and its achievements and accomplishments, and the progress forward with this nation through further activating its role and position," Izzeddine said.
