Moussawi: March 14 political project defeated, US incapable of controlling Lebanon

Hizbullah candidate for Tyre district Sayyed Nawwaf Moussawi stressed that the political project of the ‘other' party [March 14] has been defeated, adding that the US is "no longer capable of controlling Lebanon. The ‘Israelis' haven't been able to defeat the resistance, nor has the ‘interior' group been able to impose single-handed control of authority."

Moussawi noted that all there has been a defeat of all unilateral arrogant goals which attempted to deprive Lebanon of its strength: the resistance.

Moussawi concluded saying, "If anyone has any fears related to numbers concerning lowering the electoral age, the answer is ‘We agreed that our democracy is unique in that it is a consensus democracy, not only a numerical democracy'."
