Hizbollah Staff, 22-04-2009

Member of Loyalty to the Resistance bloc in Lebanon, Amin Cherri, issued a statement in which he announced the following:

"In obligation to the decision made by the leadership of Hizbullah, which adheres to the preservation of the opposition's strength, coherence and cohesion, especially in these elections, I announce the withdrawal of my candidacy for parliamentary elections for the second District of Beirut, for the benefit of Amal Movement candidate.

Meanwhile, I stress to our people in Beirut my continued presence and communication with them, to toil for their interests and issues, to stand by them and share in the duty of keeping Lebanon, a defiant homeland and supporter of the resistance, keeper of all its sons as one people."
