Raad: The country faces a new crossroad, we wish to be in accord with public unity

The head of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Mohammad Raad, considered "After the release of the four officers, we are at a new crossroad, a shift that puts the country before a scene we want stable, balanced and in line with the unity of our people."

MP Raad referred to local developments saying "We say to all who scrutinize our speech. We are the people of the resistance, who prepared the path and paved the way for building a strong and capable state. A state whose project foiled the defeatists, conspirators, hypocrites, liars, the double-faced and the fabricators of charges to accommodate the whims and ambitions of major powers and their policies, which claim friendship with Lebanon, when in truth it is only committed to a strategic alliance that preserves the Zionist entity's superiority."

He continued "The road to uncovering the killers of the martyr PM Rafik Hariri lies in calling to account those who fabricated the lies, misled the investigation and its path in a direction that does not lead to the truth, thus providing cover to the real criminals. This is the beginning of the path, now at the threshold of the elections. Also, we will take any action necessary for the people to freely express their choice and decision in the ballot boxes."

MP Raad concluded: "Ahead of us is a long battle of building Lebanon the strong state. One that does not fear enemy threats and is ready to face any attack, one that is not subject to the blackmail of ambitious policies aimed at controlling Lebanon and at directing its national choice."
