Moussawi: Lebanon’s political authority committed the crime of political arrest

In an electoral meeting in the southern village of Maaroub, Moussawi declared that preserving government institutions necessitates inquiries and calling to account, noting that the political authority committed the crime of political arrest.

Moussawi speculated on the call for not allowing the release of the four generals to be politicized, asking "Why have they not called for un-politicizing the arrest of the four generals and framing them with false accusations before the investigation was completed?"
