Khalil: Jezzine electoral battle will not affect alliance with Aoun

Speaker Nabih Berri's political advisor MP Ali Hassan Khalil said that Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun reflected in his statement on Thursday the exception Jezzine represents.
Khalil's statement came after Aoun announced his Jezzine list during which he said that the opposition will have two ballots in the district. The bloc leader said that "this step does not mean that there is a disagreement between us and Berri. Two opposition lists are formed only in Jezzine."

Khalil in turn said that "we agree with Aoun over general political and electoral positions. Our alliance in other districts remains unchanged, and the mechanisms of the electoral battle in Jezzine will not affect our stable alliance."
