Raad: We hope the opposition wins parliamentary majority to mainstream state building policy
Hizbullah Site Staff, 08-05-2009
Head of Loyalty to the Resistance Parliamentary Bloc, MP Mohammad Raad said: "We, as opposition want statehood for Lebanon, not a project other than as a state", adding "We want a state for all Lebanese, not a farm titled a ‘state', nor a company with that title either, but a state that treats its citizens fairly gives them their rights, provides work and education opportunities for its youth."
During a political meeting Hizbullah organized in Kfar-Jaoz, al-Nabatieh, Raad hoped "The Lebanese opposition gains parliamentary majority to mainstream state-building-policy, to save us from policies that are weak, factional, lacking on planning, and that are aimed at transforming the country into a mercenaries market for some at the expense of others."
Raad also considered that "A withdrawal from al-Ghajar town is not sufficient, what is required is a withdrawal from all occupied land", pointing out that "Regardless of the time it takes, the resistance is committed to liberation and protecting the homeland from all enemies."
