Ammar al-Moussawi: Larsen acts as a caretaker of 1559, assigned by U.S. and "Israel"

In an interview with "alintiqad.net" Hizbullah International Relations Official, Ammar al-Moussawi criticized UN envoy Terje Roed-Larsen's latest report on Resolution 1559.

Al-Moussawi asserted that Larsen, "the 'superintendent' of Resolution 1559, tries to act as a caretaker of the Lebanese situation from time to time and this is part of the task assigned to them by the international pressure force led by the United States and 'Israel'."

Moussawi clarified that the attempts to describe the resistance weapons as a threat to the elections "is one among the many malicious attempts aimed at provoking conflict over an issue that was agreed to be discussed, in the framework of a national dialogue table."

In this context, Moussawi pointed out "The sides and countries seeking to influence the elections and confiscate their results in advance have become clear. Saudi Arabia, through its confessions made it clear that it is spending millions of dollars to support the opponents of Hizbullah and the opposition, U.S. statements also form blatant interference in the parliamentary elections, even the campaign launched by the Egyptian regime aims to influence the supporters of Hizbullah and its allies one way or another."
