The head of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Mohammad Raad stressed on Monday that the national opposition forces don't want a tripartite or quadrate power sharing formula as some parties were claiming.

Speaking during a political meeting, Raad confirmed that the opposition as a whole wants the full implementation of the Taif accord.

He accused the March 14 bloc of "seeking to provoke its audience against the children and people of the resistance saying the resistance wants to rob you of your authority by proposing a tripartite formula for power sharing."

Raad affirmed the need for establishing a state for citizens and not a private company for the powerful. He stressed that the state should invest in young people and provide them with jobs. "Not a state that works on destroying the agricultural, industrial and tourist sectors and leaves the treasury with no revenues," Raad said.
