Ammar tells Sabaa: Dahiyeh´s ballot boxes will not be moved to Maarab
Source: Nowlebanon.com, 13-5-2009
Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Ali Ammar told OTV on Wednesday that some March 14 alliance candidates' call to move some of the ballot boxes originally stationed in the Dahiyeh district to the Baabda-Aley district "is to justify their electoral shortcomings" and added that the matter will not affect voters.
"We reassure MP Bassem Sabaa that the ballot boxes will not be moved to Maarab," Ammar said, in reference to Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea's residence.
Ammar also said that Hizbullah will support the re-election of Speaker Nabih Berri, assuring that the party's decision does not commit any of its allies to the same position.
